Lo scorso giugno 2006 si è tenuto, in Texas, l’IT Audit Topics Research Symposium organizzato dall’IIA Research Foundation e dall’Advanced Technology Committee. Scopo dell’incontro è stato promuovere i progetti di ricerca emergenti in ambito IT per tenerne conto nell’ambito delle future iniziative IIA per l’IT.
Sono stati presentati quattro “research paper” la cui sintesi è disponibile sul sito di IIA (pdf, 25 K).

Nei prossimi mesi, l’IIA inviterà mediante un "Call for Proposals" i ricercatori ed i professionisti della materia a condividere idee, progetti ed esperienze in ambito internal auditing.
